Happy New Year! I hope you and your loved ones enjoyed the Christmas break and are having a blessed New Year so far. It seems every year goes by faster and faster, all the more reason to put on the breaks every so often and smell the roses. Or the hibiscus. The husband has been inkling for a trip to Hawaii again this year, so hopefully that will be something we get to do again this year.

Anyhoo!These past few weeks have been a vacation for me and I can’t be more thankful. It gave me time to finally work on finalizing the website for Heartbox Photography. It also gave me a chance to finalize the tweaks on the past few photoshoots done in November and December. And it gave me time to eat more chocolate than I intended, hang with friends and family, cuddle my puppy, Kona a little more than I have been and talk my dear husband’s ear off at home as he continued to plug through working at home. Yes, he loves me!

I actually feel like waving my hands around in excitement like I’m 5 years old again who just got her first Cabbage Patch Kid! Because truly, after so much time and effort put into designing this site, it feels like Christmas again. With chocolate sprinkles on top.
